I grew up with a deep fear of public speaking. Like, fake a tummy ache to avoid class presentations level fear, so naturally I now do MC work. Turns out all I needed was a microphone, a crowd, 2-3 drinks beforehand and a slight disregard for my childhood trauma. Big B always told me those public speaking classes he forced me to do would pay off and look at me now. Now not only do I talk for a living on socials, podcasts and radio, but I can now stand up in a room in front of 350 people and make people laugh. Character development? Absolutely.
